David

Copy of ‘The David’ at Piazzale Michelangelo. The original by Michelangelo is at Accademia di Belle Arti (“Academy of Fine Arts”) in Florence. Number of copies are placed around Florence but none as perfect and as imposing as the original. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed in the Accademia 😦

Blenheim

S and I visited Blenheim Palace with a couple of friends in 2008. What a beautiful place it is…especially the gardens. Heaven on Earth! I will recommend everyone to visit the place…atleast once.  Don’t bother buying a ticket to get into the palace itself, nothing much to see. Stick to the outdoors. It’s absolutely beautiful!

Venice

Venice - 1

A Bike Ride

The best way to see India is on a two wheeler….a Bike (not a bicycle) 😛 S and I were on our way to Araku Valley from Vizag. The trip was totally awesome. We started early in the morning…when the streets were still foggy. Stopped at a local ‘restaurant’ and had some really oily puris 😉 and a glass of wonderful ‘chai’. The most amazing part was trekking to a waterfall and relaxing on Vizag’s highest railway track (if not AP’s) 😀

Trevi Fountain

This photograph of the famous Trevi Fountain was taken way back in 2006. I could not get a complete shot of the fountain since the place was very crowded. Rome is one of our holiday spots…full of history and beautiful architecture.

Hidden – 2

Same picutre but in colour.

Waterfalls

This picture was taken at Ethipothala Waterfalls near Nagarjuna Sagar in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh in India.

Beach

This picture was taken at Yarada Beach Resort near Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, India. I visited the beach (which merges into Bay of Bengal) April of last year and it was simply fantastic! I am not a swimmer but couldn’t stop getting myself wet in the ‘still clean’ waters. Since this beach is pretty far away from the city of Vizag, there still aren’t many tourists who visit this place often…which means it’s is much more cleaner than it’s counterpart…Ramakrishna Beach.

Cottage

Hidden!

This picture was taken at one of the garden’s at Blenheim Palace called ‘The Secret Garden’. The original picture is in colour…but I think the B&W one looks better. The colour picture will be coming up soon… 🙂
